What card games do you play with your besties?
I remember playing a lot of cards when I was younger and still to this day enjoy a little sit down time with my family and friends for a "friendly" game. I use the word "friendly" loosely, because some of them have a hard time loosing and get very competitive. It's all in good fun and we enjoy playing with everyone, even the ones shouting, "I am going to kick your butt!"Some of my favorite card games are Spades, Cribbage, Skip-bo, Phase 10, UNO, Solitaire, High Low, War, BS, Presidents and A-holes, and Speed. And if you have not heard of 52 pickup, ask one of your friends! (:
Some games I would like to try are, Spoons, Mao, Monopoly Deal, Canasta, and Poker. I have never had the chance to play but maybe soon. I find it easier watching a game while someone is explaining how to play at the same time.

ReplyDeleteLove the post! I've always enjoyed playing cards and board games too. Didn't know you knew cribbage--we'll have to play sometimel although I haven't played since the 70's, sitting at the table with your dad, my dad, me and my ex.
We used to play poker--my dad, Linda and I--betting with pennies. I'd be willing to play that too!

I would love to play cribbage with you, even try a little Poker (: I have play sometimes with Scott, but not as much as I did with my dad when I was younger. He taught me a long time ago and I just adore the game. Maybe because it does remind me of him!
